Marcelino Norge  is a volunteer organization that was established in 2005 by Tina Soli (b. 9/18/1972

in Fredrikstad, Norway) and Luca Roncoroni (b. 4/15/1973 in Como, Italy).

In 2003, we were on a "around-the-world-trip" and wanted to visit Mario in Peru (childhood friend of Lucas's father). We arrived in Huamachuco in the Andesafter 2 days on a bus, and were greeted by Mario, some volunteers, teachers and children at the center. We fell in love with the people and spent all our time with the kids; playing, drawing, building, talking, walking, cleaning fish and visiting their families and workplaces. We founded Marcelino Norge in 2005 and returned to Peru in 2006. We are in regular contact with the team at the center for planning new projects.
