NATs AT HOME

................................................................................................................................................................

The houses are simple, without furniture, doors, windows or bathrooms. Most houses are made of adobe and straw (Adobe bricks). During the rainy season, many houses are destroyed. Very few houses have electricity and water. Although tap water and the water from the rivers is not drinkable, there is no other option, and this causes diseases.

NATs are often subjected to abuse; in the streets, at work and at home. The teachers are regularly visiting the NAT's houses to ensure that their rights and needs are respected. They are also documenting their health, hygiene, nutrition and social networks. Read more: LITT OM BARNA ...
